在黨的十九大教導中，習近平進一步提出從二〇三五年到本世紀中葉，在根本實現當代化的根基上，再奮斗十五年，把中國建成富強民主文明和平美麗的社會主義當代化強國。
到當時，中國物質文明、政治文明、精神文明、社會文明、生態文明將全面提拔，實現國家治理體系和治理才幹當代化，成為綜合國力和國際陰礙力領先的國家，全體人民共同富裕根本實現，中國人民將享有加倍幸福安康的生活。
